Tag Manager integration enabling marketers to author custom tags that can be embedded in a website channel. For example web analytics tools like Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, various cookie banners, marketing tags and optimization tools.

Package Installation

Add the package to your application using the .NET CLI

dotnet add package Kentico.Xperience.TagManager

Quick Start

1. Include Kentico.Xperience.TagManager project in the solution.

   dotnet add package Kentico.Xperience.TagManager
   

2. Register required services into DI container.

   // Program.cs
   
   var builder = WebApplication.CreateBuilder(args);
   
   // ...
   
   builder.Services.AddKenticoTagManager();
   

3. In the administration go to UI application 'Custom channel settings'.

4. Create new record.

5. Choose channel, snippet type, custom code snippet or GTM ID, and consent.

6. During rendering the livesite page, the application automatically adds custom code snippets with accepted consents.

7. To dynamically update the rendered code snippets, call javascript function window.xperience.tagManager.updateCodeSnippets().
