ITC FileNet Activities

Overview

This package provides UiPath custom activities to work with IBM FileNet:

  • FileNet Connect — authenticate and retrieve an IObjectStore.
  • FileNet Execute Query — run a SearchSQL and return results as DataTable and IRepositoryRowSet.
  • FileNet Download Document — download the first content element of a document and return FileInfo.
  • FileNet Disconnect — clear thread credentials (ClientContext.SetThreadCredentials(null)).

Requirements

  • IBM FileNet .NET client libraries present on robot machine.
  • .NET Framework 4.6.1
  • UiPath Studio 2021 / 2023 (Windows legacy compatibility)

Usage

  1. Add package to UiPath Studio (local feed or Orchestrator/Marketplace).
  2. Use FileNet Connect activity to get ObjectStore.
  3. Use Execute Query or Download Document passing the ObjectStore.
  4. Use Disconnect to clear thread credentials when finished.

Notes

  • Activities include ContinueOnError options.
  • Download activity supports Overwrite or unique filename generation.
