FsrsSharp

Usage

Below are minimal examples showing how to use the core API. These assume you have the package installed (or reference the project directly).

Install from NuGet (example):

dotnet add package FsrsSharp --version 1.0.0

C# example (console app):

using FsrsSharp;
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;

class Program
{
    static void Main()
    {
        // Create a scheduler with defaults
        var scheduler = new Scheduler();

        // Create a new card (defaults to Learning state)
        var card = new Card();

        // Review the card as "Good"
        var (updatedCard, reviewLog) = scheduler.ReviewCard(card, Rating.Good);

        Console.WriteLine("Updated card:\n" + updatedCard.ToJson());
        Console.WriteLine("Review log:\n" + reviewLog.ToJson());

        // Later, reschedule based on a sequence of logs
        var rescheduled = scheduler.RescheduleCard(updatedCard, new List<ReviewLog> { reviewLog });
        Console.WriteLine("Rescheduled card:\n" + rescheduled.ToJson());
    }
}

Serialization helpers

  • Card.ToJson() / Card.FromJson(string) — serialize/deserialize card state.
  • ReviewLog.ToJson() / ReviewLog.FromJson(string) — serialize/deserialize review log entries.

Notes and tips

  • The Scheduler constructor accepts optional parameters to tune FSRS internals, random seed, and learning/relearning steps.
  • Use EnableFuzzing to toggle interval fuzzing when generating next due dates.
  • Review the public methods in the code (ReviewCard, RescheduleCard, GetCardRetrievability) for more control in advanced scenarios.
