Microsoft Azure Operational Insights management client library for .NET

Microsoft Azure Operational Insights is an analysis service designed to provide IT administrators with deep insight into their on-premises and cloud environments. It helps you interact with real-time and historical computer data for rapid development of custom insights, while providing Microsoft- and community-developed patterns for data analysis.

This library follows the new Azure SDK guidelines, and provides many core capabilities:

- Support MSAL.NET, Azure.Identity is out of box for supporting MSAL.NET.
- Support [OpenTelemetry](https://opentelemetry.io/) for distributed tracing.
- HTTP pipeline with custom policies.
- Better error-handling.
- Support uniform telemetry across all languages.

Getting started

Install the package

Install the Microsoft Azure Operational Insights management library for .NET with NuGet:

dotnet add package Azure.ResourceManager.OperationalInsights

Prerequisites

• You must have an Microsoft Azure subscription.
