Crestron's 4-Series appliances and server based Virtual Control enable you to program your system in C#. This package includes all the necessary libraries needed to create a C# Library you can include and link in SIMPL+

** Crestron recommends that you backup your project before upgrading to new versions of the SDK **

** Note for users upgrading from NuGet package v2.12.41 **
Before upgrading your project from NuGet package v2.12.41, please first remove that Crestron NuGet package from your project, and also remove any project references to Crestron DLLs and SIMPLSharpPro.EXE. This is a one-time operation, only applicable when upgrading from version v2.12.41.

** Project Setup **
In order to enable debugging, you have to set the "Debug Type" of the project to "Portable," since we no longer manually run the pdb2mdb utility in the post-build step. (It was causing more problems than it solved)

To ensure that upgrading to newer versions of the Crestron NuGet packages in the future also updates all   Crestron's SDK DLLs, we are now automatically adding a reference to all available DLLs to a project as part of the NuGet package install. We found out that any manually added references (even to DLLs that are part of a package), are not being upgraded to newer versions when we upgrade.  This will create a larger CLZ, but will not affect runtime RAM utilization. If you want to reduce the CLZ size you can mark unused references as "do not copy."

If you do delete a Crestron SDK Reference from the project, please do not manually add it back in (that will prevent it from being upgraded in the future), but rather uninstall / re-install the Crestron NuGet packages, or upgrade to a newer version if available.
